Introduction To NFCIET

National Fertilizer Corporation (NFC) Institute of Engineering & Technological Training (IET) is a subsidiary of NFC, which is a state run enterprise with its head office in Lahore, Pakistan. The corporation works under the Ministry of Industries and Production, Govt. of Pakistan.

NFC developed several industries like Pakarab Fertilizers Limited, Pak-Saudi Fertilizers Limited, Pak-American Fertilizers Limited, Hazara Phosphate Limited and Lyallpur Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited, a Technical Training Centre in Multan, followed by a Fertilizers Research Institute in Faisalabad. Both of the institutes were later upgraded to Engineering Institutions. Recently NFC-IET has been upgraded to a federal degree awarding institute. The Synthetic Fiber Development and Application Centre and Plastic Technology Centre, Karachi are also under the umbrella of NFC.

NFC-IET is situated in Multan, a city located in the orbit of world known Indus civilization and is among the few ancient cities of Pakistan. The Institute is offering technical education at three levels;

• 4 Years BS Engineering & Science Programme
• One Year Post Diploma Training Programme
• Professional Skill Development Programme for Engineers & Technicians
